A Dylan song I didn't know..until I heard a nice fingerstyle arrangement
on YT
No, this is not an Adele song :), but a Dylan song from the 1997 album Time Out of mind , based on a jazz like chord progression
Make You Feel My Love has higher complexity than the average song in terms Chord-Bass Melody.

I played it in C, just with guitars takes, bass and vocals

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

JP this is as about as wonderful a piece of music as I have ever heard.  I doubt I would feel the same about Dylans version.  I liked a few of Dylans songs that I heard but I never heard anything he did that I thought I would describe as beautiful.

The songs I liked of Dylan were more humorous to me.  He had some interesting lyrics.

I have always loved Phil Keaggy's version. This is a wonderful rendering. You've captured the tenderness of the lyrics.

Nice.

as you probably know, I don't speak english fluently, so I choose my covers mainly for the music
I found this song in myxolidian mode, by Dylan very pretty

since I read the translation of the lyrics that some people say are namby-pamby.
the theme is a declaration of love from a man to a woman; and who fears that she will leave him

the theme is therefore identical to that of a song by Jacques Brel which is much more "poetic" as far as the text is concerned
..but not anyone who wants to be a Nobel Prize winner in literature....

I will take again for the pleasure "ne me quitte pas" of Jacques Brel

I might be over my quota for bumps today. After commenting on "The Cuzin's - Mirrored Haze" I reloaded the "Random Dozen" page, and this began to play, demanding my attention.

It's a beautiful cover. The recording of the vocals is what sells it – the presence to the mic, the soft and sad delivery. For a non-native English speaker, you express this perfectly.

This is heartbreaking song. Unlike some other people who commented, I knew this was a Dylan song, but didn't know that Adele and others had covered it until much later. I have a clear memory of listening to Dylan's version in 2014, alone in the house I owned with my ex-wife, after she had moved out. I considered recording a cover of this song at the time, but decided that would be torturing myself.

It's a standard song with over 450 covers ...including Heg, Groundy; René Asologuitar, Thetworeg ...and I could be forgetting (who said Adele?).
