Okay, Here's a song about planned obsolescence and operating systems.

The backer for this has been around for years, incomplete. I wrote it not long after I had to get a new iPhone when Apple made my phone obsolete with an iOS update. So it's probably around 2016. I've been through that lifecycle again since then. The numbers fest gave me the impetus to finish the words. Some of the vocals do go back to when it was first recorded.

The guitar sounds are a mix of ukulele through a distorted guitar track and GB guitar.

Thanks for your comments guys. I wasn't happy with what I posted yesterday, the vocal levels were all wrong, so I did a remix which I'm happier with.

I heard this last night. It's crazy because I never had apple products. Actually I had an i phone for 30 minutes and realized "this ain't gonna work for rebel me"....and I sent it back and got another android. But i can totally relate. Every time I get an auto "update" to OS, or some softwares there inevitably are problems. I got an update, that I didn't ask for or want, from samsung on my phone and my phone now pairs with my truck stereo for calls but not for music. Go figure.

Great punky fun, really like the groove as always and the uke sounds great. You are prophetic as well. I too have never owned an Apple product but 11 is the death knell for my PC courtesy of Microsoft and Windows.....

A revisit and a first time hearing the remix. Going from memory this feels more balanced and the vocals sit more comfortable in this version. Fun song!
