Straight from the oven... It's a case of demo / scratch vocals becoming the main thing :D I tried to think what would Halford do (other than  flee...).
Beware of loud noises. The mix is still cooking.

I got your number
I tried to call
Where the hell have you been?
I tried to give you a great opportunity
To cut you a deal

I got your number

To cut you a deal

For your mother in law
You get a bag of chips

A bag of chips tonight
A great opportunity
I tried to give you a call

There's lot of additional vocals (2,5 tracks and i kept them all :) so there's no point of writing all the throwaway phrases.

got me laughing my tail off...this is so fun...and rockin.  The vocals make this a completely different song.  I cracked up when you sang opportunity.  and the bag of chips thing.  music can be and is about many things, including (for me anyway) having a lot of fun.  oh yeah and that thing you do at the end with the voice reminds of bagpipes... I love that...hope it stays at least in some form...that took this to an entirely different level (imo)

Killer piece! Nice rocker! Great tones and dig the double bass drum style era time stamp.

One idea I got as I listened, if you remix, at about 1:45 or so when you hold the off-note for awhile, you could easily modulate it into a siren. I half expected the cops to arrive! Great work! 8)

Sorry for da bump. Gotta comment some!

StephenM & Hardlock. The horrid yell before the solo was supposed to be an over the top heavy metal scream that sounds like a siren :D So i guess the idea got thru even though the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I had a sore throat while recording these vocals and i wasn't alone so i was trying to take it easy and be as quiet as possible (which didn't really work ;)). All of those additional "yell" -type of sounds earlier in the song were just me trying to loosen up the voice and see if it would go higher when needed.

There's also a happy accident with the lyrics. I don't know why but i sung "scream" on one of the vocal tracks, and on another there was that "yelp" -type of scream. That wasn't intentional. Only when i started mixing the track i noticed this :) Also the lyrics were something i invented on the spot. The lyrics i tried to write down had stuff like "Beam Me Up Scotty! Take me to the Downtown" and "Get your lasers up!", but when i hit the RECORD it turned out like this.

The main vocal sound was supposed to mimick Halford as this isn't the kind of song i could sing even as a demo. So i tried to go as over the top as possible. I'm actually accidentally flipping back to normal voice in the first chorus. I might try to sing this properly at some point. Perhaps try to find a middle ground between the "Halford" and "normal" so it would still retain some edge and clearness. I didn't think of B-52, but i now i'll have to check and see if there's an another example of this kind of voice to be found :)

Btw for some reason the player shows the track lenght as 2:00 minutes, but it still plays to the end (closer to 3 min).

Thanks for the comments!

I could see you going for Halford but it ain't exactly that either.  I also get the B52s comp.. it has that fun crazy feel.
Keep on going for cool stuff.  It's entertaining and fun.  No limits, no boundaries,  no borders, just great songs.  ZOLT on brother!

Love the screams, and the lyrics cracked me up. Stupendous playing.  I especially enjoyed a few of the chirps found throughout.

You make me lament the demise of my X100.
