Racism of all kinds is wrong!  Whether it's white against black or black against white or any other kind, it is wrong in God's eyes. He made us all the same.  The sooner we all realize this the happier we all will be.

Dismal warnings and gloomy days
seem to frequent more than they used to
Caused by something we cannot see
Loss eventually

When will we learn?

Too few sunny and cloudless days
Evil more than the good we should do
Fullfilment comes more from causing pain
Nothing more to be gained

When will we learn from all the pain?
What have learned from the dark past?

We're never content to love our brothers as equal
We have to place someone beneath us in such a pridefull way

Ignorance has caused so much disgrace
Must we continue to play such cruel games
Doesn't matter what color or race
God made us all the same

When will we learn not to prejudge?
What have we learned?  Nothing usefull.

Common sense seems to die in the heat
of passioned desire to conquer and gain
If we fail to learn we will repeat
and relive all the past pain

When will we learn?  We must learn love
What have we learned?

That playing, JonBee you're one seriously stylish dude! Your melodic sense, and choice of notes is immaculate. This is the kind of songwriting and music i could never write, and can only enjoy and appreciate from a far. The mix is clean and clear. The songwriting is both retro, and timeless at the sametime. I would like to have such a brain that could conjure melodies and harmony like this!

Also great lyrics and your vocal sound is perfect for this style. This is a clear album track and there's nothing i would change.

Brilliant track John! Once again, your melodic sense is really showing, and the way you weave your words around the music is really cool. I love the chord change in the chorus, totally unexpected but it feels so right. Another knock out!

Farrell Jackson

John, I always enjoy the way your vocal melody moves in, around and with the chord progressions you create. Plus, I like the occasional jazzy chord that appears at just the right places. Well done on a very classy song and vocal performance!
