I am very pleased with this festival because I didn't listen to RM for ages. I only really discovered RM in the 90's, because a friend of mine recorded me a mixtape with their "best" songs.

In reality, I had the album "Flesh and Blood", from where this song is taken, since 1980-something, as someone offered my older sister for birthday, but at the time I was a kid and I only liked "in the midnight hour".

So back in the 90's when I got the tape, I was not only discovering RM, but also... Bob Dylan... I took me a while to learn that "Baby Blue" and "A hard rain's gonna fall" were actually his.
I was really temnpedt in covering one of these, but decided to go to RM since they have some many wonderful songs

So...

As my latest recordings I used Cubasis, Ipad.

It has my Risa Ukulele (with delay), my "newish" Ibanez short scale acoustic bass (playing with a pick), and then the synth, sax and drums, just regular midi using cubasis sound fonts and synths.

So... nevermind the bollocks, here's dasilvasings

Great cover Miguel - glad to see the Roxy Fest has got you listening to the band again. I was mad on them in my teenage years but drifted away so it's been great to listen to their stuff again.

Awesome   Nice job covering this. This fest has been surprisingly enjoyable for me because I didn't follow RM very closely. Man that bass really rumbles. Loved this. RM is hard to cover, especially because of the signature sax elements in there music.

I have Cubasis on my iPad -I had the nerve to do a whole song on it yet. I get stuck in my comfort zone of reaper.
Those are stock plug-ins ?  Sounds great

man alive this sounds fantastic.  I don't know the song but it's great on it's own.  The bass sounds awesome and the vocals are really clear and wonderful...good singing!!!
Then the swirly keys/guitars? up in the back are really good too...
SC members are topping the charts these days...

This track has such an infectious groove, and you captured it really well. The bass playing is awesome, I love when bass is right up front like that. You did an excellent job on the vocals too, it's got that dark, croonery sound of Bryan Ferry. Great version!

This is one of my favourite Roxy Music songs and you're doing it well. I like the understated and different sounding vocals. I also like the way the bassline is given more space and kept upfront in this version. The original is dreamy and sad sounding and your version puts more focus into the former. Well done!
