Sign of the Times. ODH’s version for RM fest.

So a couple of weeks ago I recorded the guitar tracks for this song. Then only an hour or so later Pete posted his fine version.

Anyway now I'm posting my version.

I didn't detect any keyboards in the original so all the tracks are guitar except for GB bass and drums. And vocals. Many guitar tracks of various shapes and sizes, all off the tele.

Another great listen!

The guitars are spot on! Really love this one note solo! And you really put the 2 guitars taking with each other after the solo. I really need to steal that 2 guitars panning from you.
I also liked the echo/ reverb you added to your voice. It is always risky to add more "extreme" effects to the voice, but that echo/ delay was on the spot to make the vocals richer without losing clarity.

Cracking job Nick. Some great guitars in here and yeah that one note solo is rather tasty. Brilliant job on the arrangement, a lot of work gone in there but well worth it.
