I suppose that I have come up with a few "crazy" songs and this one maybe the most bonkers yet.  I have a few on the site that I probably should not have posted but i rather like this one.  It reminds me a shade of another SC's stuff on the site that I like.
I started with a bass guitar part and then did a couple of keyboard tracks widdling along.  Then the drums and the guitars.  Casio Privia keyboard.  Les Paul.  Shecter bass played straight into the BR (i love that sound).  Alesis Nitro drums.
Recorded and mixed on the BR1600.  Vocals using Zoom mics output into the BR.  Mastered on Landr.
Skull duggery. Canadian ancestry. Norwegian drudgery. 20 meter fall off a ski ramp and broke me ass (my donkey). Get back up and do it again. Get back up and do it again.

Words on paper. Notes sang into nowhere. Waste of time, waste of sapce. Just like comics on a TV no one sees. Plays and plays and plays and plays....

Yankee misery. Red Sox victory. Maple Leafs fantasy. Montreal cup victory. Ken Dryden and Pete Mahovolich. Kicking Flyers butt.

WTF is this here? Just garbage in the atmosphere. Kind of a waste pf breath. And bad breath to boot.
Irish whiskey, or is it Scotch for thee? Thin Lizzy or Nazareth? It's up to you. Shall I play U2 or the Police? Wilbur and Mr. Ed on the tube again.

French fries, french kiss dressing and soup. Eiffel Tower, Leaning Piazza place.

Roman wrestling. Spaghetti in a pie pan. Pope on the throne again, watching over thee, watching over thee.

Brasil has acai and tan butt cheeks in bikini's and beach volleyball Copacabana.

Australia has crocodile. Africa the Nile (river). Where is this going here? Into the garbage can that's where.

Disclaimer:  Lyrics aren't aimed at anything, anyone, or anywhere.  They are simply word ideas on paper.

Wow man. You hittin' the shrooms?  Lol
Songwriting in subjective and has no rules. You do you. That's all that really matters.
Some of it kind reminds me of the cars. Lyrics kinda reminds me of King Crimson. Nobody was injured in the production of this tune. Fun was had for sure

This is way beyond trippy! Deep thoughts and partially digested ideas meet in this smorgasbord of "free your mind!" (your ass will follow).

Some people write whole books and make concept albums for the stuff you're just throwing here in wild abandon :)

I love these " crazy" type songs as you say, from you. Love the way you come up with lyrics lol.
What comes first the lyrics or music?
I really like the music though, nice drums, great bass line and nice panning with the guitars. Also love the little synth / piano melodies throughout.
Great stuff !

I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

Darren, almost always I do music first and then as I listen i just write down thoughts that come up to the music...sometimes I have to change them to get where I can sort of sing them to the music... if you had asked me 14 months ago if I thought I would ever write lyrics I would say nah... I just do mostly instrumentals...but I have learned on this site you can write lyrics about anything...whether they are good or not is probably alot like our thoughts... some are and some aren't... but the whole process is fun and every now and then it's like scoring a goal in football when you get a song that people actually like... but I try not to limit "creativity".... Trevor Horn says most lyrics are shit.... my problem is there isn't very much music I don't like... I will listen to about anything...especially if I have any ties to the originator or the musician... so that can be a problem producing quality... none the less...I am having a very fun time...thanks for the comments to all and I really do love the site here

Great song Stephen.. lots of Canadian content in the Lyrics ,, "Maple Leafs fantasy", that's a great line  :)
I'm in Ottawa, Ontario but lived on the Quebec side for a long time, so I'm a Habs fan first and a Sens second ..
Unfortunately I do not think that either team will see a cup in the near future ..
Great work ..

Shit man.... this is damn good! I think Zoltan has summed up what I feel pretty well. It's just right on the edge of exploring and seeing how far you can take things and make it work... and it really works. Some great musical ideas... unconventional, original and I don't know how you start with a bass and add drums later, but it works! Truly loved the words, they sound deep as fuck. Something like Kerouac in a song perhaps or am I a bit off track? Anyhow great job on this Steve.

I really enjoyed this, probably because it was so unexpected. Yep, nothing wrong with trippy.

Pure madness, pure joy. I would expect nothing less..... ;) Huge fun from start to finish and very nicely put together. Loved the bass in particular.
