Tim (TPB) oked me posting his brilliant ballad he wrote a few years back. I started with just his guitar rhythm track and vocals and although that is a fine song all by itself, he asked for some collaboration on it. It took awhile but here's the result.

Any opinions on the production values etc. are greatly appreciated as this fine song deserves to be done right I feel and this is the first full mix.

Glad I get to comment first!!!  fantastic mix and production.  I love Tim's vocals.  The piano is fine...really nice.  reminds me of the softer pop rock tunes of the late 70's.  Great stuff.
The drums are perfect for this track imo.
The guitar sounds excellent.
Awesome job producing this Ken along with your additions...
and a great writing job Tim...

Lovely tune. Really gorgeous. I am digging the production, but the main acoustic rhythm pokes out its head in places a tad. Love that Wurly/Rhodes sound in there.

Nicely done.

Ken is too modest I handed him a acoustic track with the vocals and he ran with it adding the drums and Bass first I really love the bass additions then finished it with the strings and leads.   Brother I appreciate everything you have done to make this song come alive
Many Thanks Tim

Sounds great! It's a really comfortable sounding and easy going song. The vocals are smooth and the playing + overall sound picture fit together nicely. Gentle and soothing vibe is what comes thru the song.

Fantastic song guys. It sound like a song from the 70's I really love the style and the lyrics. Tim's vocals are so good and those harmonies amazing.
You've added some great additional parts , the drums , bass and lead guitar are excellent and the mixing is really good.
I guess Tim never had a set tempo so I know it can be hard especially with drums to get timing right, but this is great.

I agree with you Tim...Ken really does great additions and he has the unique ability to really appreciate the basic track and build on it...that is a real gift and talent and Ken makes a great Engineer and Producer as well as an excellent musician.  He really puts alot of attention into small details...
