Roller Coaster

Rob Grant, a good friend and former bass player for Rayon Vert contacted me about helping him finish out a song idea. He's just getting back into songwriting and music making after a few years hiatus. He sent me the rhythm guitars, bass and drums to which I added the lead and backing vocals, harmonica and slide guitar solos. I then mixed it and mastered it with LANDR. We had some fun with it.

Oh, these guitars sound great! This song has that instantly catchy 80's rock'n'roll vibe to it. It's the production and performances that have this feel to them. The slide playing is tasty and the compressed distorted guitars sounds and slinky rhythms are really groovy! Catchy and cool!
