Quote from: Pinedog on June 08, 2009, 06:23:19 PMNeil is a one of a kind. Probably wouldn't have a chance if he was just starting out in today's music market though.. Renegade!

Singing with my brother is alot of fun...wish we could do it more. It's always a "one take" deal when i record with him...never enough time.

Thanks for listening Mark.

Bump... this is a great cover. Yes... there are too few of us left in the world to make this music mainstream. What a shame. Love it PD

Thanks guys. Can't believe this was 2 years ago. Sorry i'm not around much anymore...not much time it seems and only three new songs to show for the whole winter. Pathetic. Feeling rather lost and uninspired of late. Hopefully it's just some sort of cycle like everything else in Life.

Thanks a bunch Rob..Dunny..Dave and Geir. i appreciate the support. This tune was one of my first recording efforts on my old Fostex VF80.  My brother sang the harmonies. It was my first attempt at a home recorded album...a Neil Young tribute CD....2004 or so. i think my recordings took a major step forward when i switched to my Boss gear. The preamps alone are far better and the bells and whistles are lightyears beyond the fostex. I wish i knew how to utilize all the functions on my BR1200...i only use a fraction. Embarrased to admit i STILL have not learned the "EZ compose" drums! Learning curves" are exhausting after awhile...and you get them with every new piece of gear...which is why i have drawn the line there. Any GAS i have from here on will be for instruments..ok and well maybe another mic  ;)
