Great song Mike I was going to comment and say it was in the wrong spot but it looks like you got it figured out. I think this would have been ok as a instrumental  but your lyrics and vocal have put the song spot on

Brilliant stuff Mike, your vocals really reminded me of Michael Chapman (who sadly died recently). Great song, I love the bass sound and the way it drives the song along. Really catchy and great storytelling. Gotta love a gold mining song!
