Shadows on My Wall 6 - Lurker & Blooby
Time:
0:00
Volume:

This started with my poppy take on a slightly Soundgardeny-influenced riff, but it turned sideways quickly like things usually do. John (Lurker) on vocals/lyrics.

Peace.

This was not what I expected from you guys at all, but what a fab track it is.

Love the chord-progression and the way the vocals floats on top of it (for lack of a better picture).

The flanger or univibe  was a nice touch.

Love it

first off...love the lyrical theme...yeah!  it's true...
vocally reminds me of a mellow Ozzie Osbourne...killer
but for me the really big hit here is the guitar sounds and riffs...the whole thing is a great track but man that guitar is fulllllllll of surprises....guitars I should say!

This piece is not ready. The vocal is terrible, and the lyric needs tweaking. The instrumental part is fine ... very fine.

I didn't want it posted yet, but Bruce begged me. He actually grovelled. I have some video, but won't post that until I've wrung out all of the blackmail value. You'd love it. Any bids?

Pretty damn tasty. Finished or not. Love the riffage. Can't wait to hear the "polished"" version.

Fine stuff chaps, it's a great song and it's true it has that grunge metal feel, such a cool riff in the verses. John that vocal sounds pretty damn good to me.

Don't polish it. I like the more grungy feel, even though the guitar work and vocals are actually very sophisticated. Some beautiful chords, chord changes and riffs being thrown around here, and seemingly effortlessly. It's really catchy too - I'm 2 listens in and it has burrowed into my lughole (British slang for ear!). It's better than Soundgarden imo!

If that vocal is terrible - well I'd be happy to sing that badly!   But I agree - the instrumentation is very fine.
