Hi,
Just wondering if anybody has had problems with the boss adapter blowing up the unit.  I can now only use batteries. Any ideas on how to fix this without returning it to boss.
thanks

Is it the Micro BR or the power supply that is broken?  I had a similar problem with a Kawai GB-2, and it was a broken solder connection in the Kawai at the power input jack.  This apparently developed after a lot of plugging and unplugging of the adapter.  I opened the unit and re-soldered that connection, and it has been fine since.  If the Micro-BR is still under warranty, I would still send it back, unless the retailer you bought it from will exchange it.  You might try another PSA adapter, also to pinpoint the problem source.

does the green light on the power supply still glow-it should whether or not the MBR is connected-if yes, do you have ameter to check the tip whether or not is putting out voltage
there may be no getting around having to return it unfortunately
it works with batteries-thats a good sign-most likely a bad power supply
I'm assuming that nothing actually "blew up"
was there smoke or that smell of components frying?

I have tried several other power supplies that work fine. Nothing is wrong apart from the fact it will only accept batteries.

I'd assume something wrong with the Br then-I'd return it
imo
