Ok i took the liberty of finding the manual online since i bought my 864 used of the internet and attempted to read it before asking for help. the only problem is im a helpless noob and cant dwnload (pdf reader) anything too big on my pc since i have dial up. Does anyone have a pc copy of the 864 manual that they can post here please. I can record and thanks to 64G I can program drums, But im pissed because i just lost 3 hours of work that my guitarist did due to me not knowing how to edit tracks. In the words of Homer --DOH!...lol. Thanks for your support in advance.

Instad of the monster Adobe Reader, you could use Foxit Reader; it's very small and also free.

It will take just as long to download the manual from here as it would from Roland, so it's no use anyone uploading it here for you. Instead, just download it direct from Roland:

http://lib.roland.co.jp/manual/en/dl_04-00241/BR-864_e1.pdf

File size is 11.8MB. Shouldn't take more than an hour to download with a 56K modem.

As for Adobe Reader, you probably already have it, as it's included on most software and driver CDs. Or, as SdC suggested, you could try Foxit Reader. It's only 3MB.
