Mike S and I are working on about 3 collabs right now.  He sent me this track of music and asked me to give it a go with lyrics and vocals and a little other lead guitar.  I really enjoy Mike's work every track he does and this one kind of took me into a bit of an angst kind of thinking.  It's a bit toward the kind of men that were visitors of Epstein's Fantasy Island, himself included.  I did the vocals the other day in the truck as I really wasn't wanting my wife to hear the singing to this...lol...then after emailing with Mike he suggested I add some guitar so I got kind of crazy with two Les Paul "lead" tracks... I seem determined to use every single patch in the BR1600... lyrics below
Take a bow, you holy cow.  You love applause, and applesauce.  You make the rules, that you don't keep.  After all, we're only sheep.
Floyd had a name for you.  It was Pig.  Floyd had a name for you Dog, dog.
you got big britches, full of shit.  Tons of money to buy you honey.  One day Mr., you gotta answer for what you done.  And that's true, for me and you.
No place to hide, no where to run.
Somebody called you sons of bitches.  You think you rule, you ain't cool.  But your money and your power, can't save your soul.  What will it profit you when you gain the world, but the plebes die?

Yes so I wanted to make up a kind of psychadelic, hypnotic kind of thing that I thought Stephen might be able to do something with as I like his "out there" don't give a shit style and he always thinks outside of the box. My backing track came out a bit darker than I imagined but I liked it all the same so sent it to him to see what he thought. So Steve put down the vocal first and yes it was off the wall and dark for sure, then he added all the whacky, intense lead bits which was a touch of genius. Totally brought the track to life. I really like it, thanks Steve. I have been singing the "Floyd had a name for you... Pig... Dog" part really loud in the car yesterday. Maybe people could even hear me on the street and were thinking who is this madman driving along! :)

Very dark and brooding, and very effective. A great psychedelic backer with some very cool guitar sounds in there and a pretty strong vibe, and those lyrics and vocals take it in a very strong direction. Nice guitar leads as well, assume those are Steve's. A very interesting and unique collab, well done guys.

Revisiting this song it reminds me of something akin to Repo Man (Iggy Pop song done for the Repo Man soundtrack). There's the same kind of drive / feel going on.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away
