Like we say here so often...

"Don't know the original and now I don't have to."

Excellent production and basically everything is really good.

How do you manage to get always the right sound with the bass?

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Not familiar with the song, but love your version.  Will have to go listen to the original.  I must admit I didn't know that Eno performed "normal" music before he started doing that "ambient" stuff.  I did think I knew that he produced some U2 albums though, so he must know what he's doing!  But this has given me a new impetus to check out his early work!  Again, great job all around, especially the guitars!

Getting to this a little late... What a fantastic cover - excellent choice and the guitars and bass (and of course, vocals) are amazing! And I love how you opened it right up. Great stuff!

My first exposure to the song was after getting the 'Here Come the Warm Jets' LP back in '79. Being a new Roxy Music fan at the time, Eno opened quite a few more doors with his first solo album.

A bit like Des this has inspired me to check out some Brian Eno solo stuff. I don't know any of his solo work. This is brill. Refreshing, instant, in your face. Stellar vocal and cracking performances all round.

Great stuff Tim. Love the energy in this in the playing and in the singing. Not a style I was expecting from Eno, but that's because down to my ignorance.
