I really love the percussion in this...and the one instrument that reminds me of a clarinet...could be a tenor sax...not sure...but wow...the whole track really soars...it's the kind of stuff that i dance to in my chair or when I am in the shower or when I walking around and the joy hits me...

Electro funk with a jazzy vibe. At first i could imagine George Clinton making an appearance, but then the song evolves into more of an slow burn "Tower of Power" -type of jazz territory. There's a time and space for tracks like this. This is almost like a time machine in away. With the sounds and melodies that are both new and familiar at the sametime. The arrangement is so nicely structured that this could easily turn into a vocal song, but works as an instrumental also.

Lovely track,great production.
If you send the backing without the lead instrumemtation ill try a lyric and vocal over it and see where it goes if thats ok with you,maybe add a bit of funk guitar.
