Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Don't know the original, but I love the fragile and melancholy feel of your cover. The volume swell strings are beautiful. And a lovely, intimate vocal. Fantastic stuff.

guitarron

beautfully delivered. I can feel the sadness. The lonely string sounds reaally work well. Nice tribute

I kind of think this is perfect as is...because it adds to the sorrowful sound of it and makes it very real...and I usually would add other stuff to most tracks but I really like what you have going in here Tim....it's so mellow, lovely, and sad.

Gotta go with Stephen on this. It sounds complete. That gentle sparse backing just adds to the sad atmosphere. I think a full band... drums, bass, lead, etc would dilute the message. this is great as is... superb in fact Tim.

Beautiful...really beautiful....I have a lot of love and deep respect for Mat Anderson...he is from my neck of the woods..I have seen him many times around here....he brings down the roof with his huge voice and guitar playing......love this

very beautiful, and very well done..as many opinions, it should not add anything this version with these purified strings is magnificent
bravo Tim
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Wow, you really did this song justice. I love the stripped back arrangement and the absolutely beautiful swells you added in there. It's so great on its own, I think adding more would distract from the song, as Mike said. Matt Andersen is one heck of a performer and I'm happy to see you've covered one of his songs (He's from Perth-Andover, just a couple hours north of where we live).
