I'm calling this augmented-punk.  It's a piece about how every day that passes is one day closer to the end of your life.

Most of my songs are about death or mental illness lately, which probably means something

It's real guitar (tele), DM-1 drums, GB bass and keys and many, many vocal tracks.  I'm trying a new audio converter on the phones to turn it into an mp3 so I don't have to involve my rubbish laptop, hopefully it will work okay.

Enjoy

It reminded me of the band 'Morphine' at the start, then it launches into some wholesome and tuneful punk thrash. It's as hooky and catchy as hell. Very enjoyable indeed, and I totally get the subject matter. Excellent!

Great track. Great fun listen despite the theme

Lots of energy

Love it.

I gotta admit that there is always something about your tunes that always bring a smile or even a raucous belly laugh....
and I am with you... I am thankful to have today...this moment...it means everything...
love all the busy ness in the song...it's just so manic....and grabs attention.
also if you play the list in order it goes from this song right next to the "Devils Toupee" and the two seem to go perfectly together...its almost like this is an intro to that one...
I am going to make a file for my own enjoyment where this one plays and then that one...

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

This reminds me of the club scene in Detroit in the early 70s and the 80s. I love the raw feel to this with the modern polish. Terrific job

Love the way the slightly morbid lyrics are supported by the almost joyously bouncy punk backing.

Then again, maybe not morbid at all.  One day is a lot better than none.

I like your sense of humour. you have to look on the bright side of life haha! It's a great, original song. I like the punk sections, the musics great and the layered vocals sound brilliant. Great production too.

I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I have you and songcrafters to thank for opening my eyes to punk (I was too busy trying to decipher Jon Anderson).

Super catchy. If you wouldn't mind, please post the lyrics as I think I'm missing some.

Brilliant lyrics! Super witty and a great, though somewhat depressing topic to begin with. Instrumentally it's also super tight and the vocals are super hooky. Excellent
