Vintage Rickenbacker Guitar Porn...

This was posted in one of the Rickenbacker groups on Facebook that I frequent.

It's a 1958 Rickenbacker Combo 600 with a German carved top and single horseshoe magnet pickup, which apparently was produced unfinished at the time and stored away until someone decided to have it painted in the factory sometime in the 1980s or 1990s (apparently Rickenbacker didn't develop their Fireglo finishes until the 1960s).

So it appears to be a one-off, and isn't currently for sale (as far as I know - not that I could afford it if it was). But she sure is perty...

I've not seen anything like this at all. The horseshoe pickup is wild! It sure is purty. I wonder what it sounds like?

Wow what a beaut. Different to many of the other rickenbacker models, so it has a real unique flair to me. The paint job is so nice as well. Stunner...

Sure wish I had a Rick! I had my buddy's gun metal blur one for about a year in my early 20s but had to give it back.
