TremWorld - Ozone9 -1
Time:

I was playing around with a Tremolo guitar effect and came up with this.
.
Let me know what you thinks ..

Also I have the following question:
I usually start on the BR800 and finish with Cakewalk  for the Mastering and something adding/changing effects on keyboard etc.
I mastered this song via Cakewalk , the file size was about 4M for a .mp3, I usually master it via Ozone9 , but figured I would give LANDR a try , the problem is that LANDR created a file size of 9M after the mastering which is too big for this forum. I guess I can load it on soundcloud and add a link to soundcloud, but any other solutions for mastering a smaller size file via LANDR  ?
Just looking to see what other people do for the mastering a file under 7.5M
Thanks and have a great day

Great use of delay, you totally nailed that spacey sound with great tones all around. I really like how it changes throughout, great stuff.

Some really great spacey sounds here, well done..... Alex

Landr has a smaller file size that you can select...that is what I do...I use Landr alot.  A 4 minute song might be 4.5 instead of 9 ...

I love Landr btw..

this song here sounds great...it could be a great track for kicking back or a movie track, tv show etc...
it's really big sounding

it's like Pink Floyd played with SAGA when they were on some barbituates.  I say that because the SAGA normally played pretty fast but some of the sounds on here reminds me of them

Thanks for the feedback .

Stephen, thanks for the tip,  I will check for the file size parameter on LANDR, I did like the mastering better than Ozone9.

Yes, SAGA , great Canadian band .. I use to listen to them a lot when I was in college ..  along with other Canadian bands like Rush, Triumph  etc ..

Thanks again and have a great day

LANDR offers four different output formats: https://support.landr.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009557267-What-are-the-LANDR-mastering-output-formats-

You must have chosen HI-RES MP3 (320kbps) to get a file of that size. You should choose LO-RES MP3 (192kbps) instead. Better still, choose WAV (16bit) or HD WAV (24bit) so that you'll have a high-quality master for your own use, which you can then convert to whatever output format and file size you need for posting. For Songcrafters, the format must be MP3. You can use whatever bitrate you like as long as the resulting file is small enough for posting. As a general rule, I recommend 192kbps because it usually results in a small enough file without sacrificing sound quality.

Thanks for the tip ..
Yes, I always create a .WAV and .MP3  to upload to the forum.
As you mentioned, I can use software ex: Audacity to convert the .WAV to .MP3 and choose the bitrate at the point to have a smaller file size.
Will also look at the LANDR different output formats.

Thanks again and have a great day

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

This is great. It would make a good song for a film soundtrack. The delay/ spacey sounds are cool, I really like the heavy guitar when it comes in. And the strings. Great vocals too. It has a nice vibe and melody to it. Great song.
I use Logic Pro for mastering and in that you can change the bit rate size before bouncing the track. I don't know if cakewalk has anything like that? Hope you sort it out.
