My old pal Jims song.
Jim is  the most poetic writer I know.
And music flows over his brain on a daily basis.
A great contributor to the site and there is so many songs to choose from.
But this one stuck out from the early years .
Hope you like it jim.

Wow, not only a dynamite song choice but a stellar performance. Your vocals are so brilliant on this, really capturing the feel of the song, and the change to the slashing chords in the chorus sound sweet. Great melodic guitar work at the end as well, a little reminiscent of the Edge to me. A flippin great cover!

HOLY MOLY!!!

I listened to ORH's just now, for the first time ever - I was a bit bowled over. Then I discovered there why it was getting bumped: cos this one exists for the current fest.

I was really worried this might turn out to be a nice tribute and... well... you know what I mean ;D

Kenny, this is superb. Production, wow. Love those guitars. The vocal is really good.

And ORH's song shines through (Out of all the vocalists on here, I've spent a lot of time over the years trying to figure out what ORH does on his lyrics and delivery, that make them so good... not solved it yet btw, but I can hear him and his phrasing here).

Brilliant all round.

Bloody brilliant cover of a fine song.  ORH will doubtless be very pleased with this! Such a powerful vocal and the guitars are fantastic.

Huge!

Thank you so much Kenny, I absolutely love what you did with my wee tune, one of the first i did on my shiny new microbr and that was a severe learning curve for me. So firstly I am flattered you were able to find a song in there, despite all my mistakes and inadequacies.
I got a big grin on my mug and that outro is off the scale China.

Teriffic big powerful sound you created in the verses. It's ominous and brooding and then explodes into that bloody huge chorus. A fab number from ORH, I can see why he is pleased. And that outro with that guitar cranking up, impossible not to like. Cracking job Kenny.
