Nice job with this and yes, I see what you mean about those words running along pretty fast!  I took a listen back to the original too and fun to hear that side by side with a different voice (and accent ). It was and still is a really nice folk song and glad that you did such a respectful interpretation of it.

This song has a special place in my heart. One of my first, if not THE first collab I had on songcrafters.

You really did a great job on the vocals. It warms my heart to hear this sung in an American voice as well as a Scottish one.

Nice song! I was also expecting this to be Jane's Addiction. The vocals are much more pleasant sounding to my ears than those of Perry Farrel
Airy playing and a great vibe to the original backing. Vocals sound great!
