Woah!!! Nearly missed this.

I'm a BIG Thin Lizzy fan - I was listening to them ALL weekend while I was setting up my new geetar - there was a lot of Jailbreak, Emerald, and various other riffings getting played as I was bedding it in (guess what sort of geetar it might be ;D)

I love how you got the bass and vocals so close. And the guitars, yep. And, btw, I think Zoltan has helped decode for me the bit of the Thin Lizzy vibe I could never figure out (Brian Downey's hihat - might looking into that myself... I knew it was something about Mr Downey, but that gives me a bit of a clue!).

Interesting what John B says about Mark Knopfler - YES, never thought of that... they apparently sound so different... BUT! (And I bought my first copies of Dire Straits, Dire Straits, and Thin Lizzy, Live and Dangerous on the same day, back in the day when you listened to your new record(s) back to back all day and all night until your Mum finally went bonkers!)

Anyway, on a third listen. Yeah, love the bass note choices. And the turn of phrase in the lyrics. And the pronunciation of "Downnn" ;D

Superb job.

Very Thin Lizzy style! Some lead guitar additions are really authentic. Bravo Mike!

Great job Mike, definitely Lizzy vibe, guitar's and  vocals just too good and what a great tune too.
Seen them back in the day, Brian Robertson was the guitarist with Scott Goram, a great night.
Well done cracking tune.
