Not much into Thin Lizzy, but I'm hearing a bit of Mark Knopfler there.  No matter which style, I like how you do it.

I'm a huge Lizzy fan and I'll be blunt here:

This is fanbloodytastic !!!!

You really got the style down, the production and arrangement, the lyrics and most of all the voice !!

WOW !!!! This is brilliant.

Did I mention the harmonies? NO? They are fab!!

Did I mention the voice? .. oh yeah ... but again: FANBLOODYTASTIC !!!!

I'm loving theses thin lizzy inspired tracks you've been doing. And this really does sound like them. The vocals and the music is spot on. The guitars sound brilliant. Love the tone on them. And what a guitar solo. This is awesome.

I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

Well... This is way better than what they passed up as a Thin Lizzy after Lynott died. The songwriting is spot on and the approach to the performances is seriously Lizzy like. The vocals and guitars are really in keeping with the style. I guess the only thing that could be improved (to make it even closer to the real thing) would be the drums. The hihat accent is already getting there, but to make it more Brian Downeyesque you'd need to have more swing to it. But then again i like this straight-forward approach to the drums also :)

wow ! what a performance - I like the singed/spoken thin lizzy style, and when yours comes to speaking over the solo drum, it is really strong ! Super!

This is so great Mike, even though I almost missed it! Melodic but streetwise and hard rocking, just what I assume Thin Lizzy is all about (from the few songs I've from them). I love the soul in the vocals on here and the harmonized guitar is just perfection. Awesome!

Excellent stuff mate,I mate,I actually do know a guy this story happened to.
He went to the audition after spending days learning the stuff.
Then discovered the all used a different tuning live and had to relearn alot of stuff.
When he got there, phil was at the dentist with toothache but the guys in the band done the auditions and love the guy, said we will see Phil and tell him to give you the job,but phil came back later and the place was filled  by snowy,or someone else.
Antway back to song.
Excellent stuff, guitar sounds great as does the phil vocal.
Nice one.
