I'm not terribly hip to Spirit, but the version I know is much slower. I think the song benefits from the increased tempo. Simply put, I love your posts and always look forward to them. Really inspired choice.

On that other note, I'm nothing short of Zeppelin fanatic, but man, "Taurus" is too close for comfort.

wow o wow... I don't know the song but man you killin it...love the vocals especially and also the music...lol...it's really good...oh...I was trying to figure out the vocal comps and it's a hint of Burton Cummins and even a bit of Mark Farner....pretty good...not that it matters...you sing well enough without sounding like anyone else...I don't know I always gotta say the comps...it's just that I love those voices so much..

I was already enjoying this, but boy did the slide guitar licks / soloing deliver! The high sung vocals are great and the song (that i'm not familiar with) is a good one. It's always nice to be exposed to new songs that have been flying under the radar. Nix clean mix also.

I don't know the original, but this is beautifully done. Great guitar work throughout, and a peach of a vocal (and backing vocals). Great range & dynamics. Love that final harmony. Superb.

Wow, stunning stuff Farrell. Really well put together, loving the vocals and harmonies and  the guitar work is really well done. Production is top notch, if you'd told me this was the original (which I don't know) I would have believed you!
