I discovered bluegrass in France in the 70's. There was in this period of folk revival, a craze in France for bluegrass

I had bought (in importation) the Seldon Scene Act I, II, III records, with the formidable dobroist Mike Aulbridge

I just did the dobro and the singing and the guitar, the rest mandolin, banjo, bass ... it's Band in a Box
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

this is a fabulous sounding folk-rock piece of music. I have never heard the original but this version is so nice. my uncle [ray brookes] speaks very highly of you and I can hear why. You play beautifully.

Thanks Pru , I have two idols : Jahia ...and Ray Brookes a fabulous sonwriter ;)

What I like in bluegrass is the sung parts of the chorus, often with 3 voices...

Beautiful song, JP - not one that I knew previously, but it reminds me a bit of George Harrison - never a bad thing!
