Finally purchased some studio monitors .. I bought Presonus Eris 4.5 monitors, they sound pretty good and are the perfect size for me since I have a small recording  space .. I have to improve the drums tracks as it's the same thru the whole song and had a bit of problems finding the right vocal riffs with EMvoice.. The free version is a bit limited ..

But this is the first song I mix/master with these ...  so any feedback on the song and mixing/mastering is appreciated ..

Thanks and have a great day

first off....i really love your voice and your singing style...it's beautiful and ethereal...like from another planet!!!

and you wouldn't expect it with the guitar blasting...you have a really good style...the keys add to the loveliness and the otherworldly like sound...but the grunge distorted guitar low blasting the speakers off just really hit it off with me with that clean guitar rhythm...

drums are ok to me...of course anything can always be better...

lead guitar is nice too, especially with those voicey keyboards over the top of it...
my only complaint is that this needs a bit more low end...

sounds like your mix is really good otherwise... the monitors I am sure you will love...I have the 3.5 version at work and mix with JBL's at home...

This is a cool song and nicely produced. I agree with Stephen that the bottom end is a bit weak but I'm a bit of a bass sound freak. The drum track is fine IMO and doesn't need to vary much considering the nature of the song. Some writers/producers (me included sometimes) tend to 'overplay' the drum track with lots of fills & rolls etc when they are not really needed so simple is often best. Vocals - I realise it's is a synthesised voice on this song - what are your own vocals like? Mine are not too great but it is what it is.

Well you can sure put a track together and I thought the vocals were a good contrast to the track. It's the kind of song you want to listen to again and again as each time you'll pick up something different.
