Super sharp, super tight. I love the unexpected drum solo in the middle. You sir have some chops, great all around musician you are. This grooves one all day long...

Greeny

This is phenomenal! The drumming is magnificent, but you have some amazing guitar chops too. Such control, tone and class. Getting quite a Dire Straits vibe from this. So many great elements to enjoy.

Great bump Stephen! I got to enjoy seeing the man in action!

Hardlock who are your drummer influences? Your playing sounds like that you didn't start playing drums with "run of the mill" drum beats in mind. There's a certain sense of sophistication to your playing that comes thru with everything you do.

Thanks for that. I'm a product of the 60's and 70's mainly. I'm not a name dropper but there's Ginger Baker of course and the drummer for Santana at the '69 woodstock Michael Shrieve were big influences. I had to look up his name now but do remember every musical chop he played!. Search youtube for some example songs if not familiar with him.

Strange how my memory works. I can't remember anyone's name, or name of bands, songs, lyrics, etc. but can recognize any musical riff I hear in my mental data base but have no idea where it came from.  ???

I try to learn something from every drummer I hear from Ringo Star to Stewart Copeland of the Police. Side note: I self-taught myself drums in a pop band in middle school playing covers. Didn't go through the usual school marching band drumming lessons and now sorta wish I did as it was years later before i'd even heard of a paradiddle let alone knew how to play one!  ::)
