Many thanks to greeny who helped me out on what effect was used in this song. Finally finished it. It is a favourite of my 9 year old daughters. She didn't feel confident enough to sing it all but i got her on backing vocals Tambourine and Handclaps. I turned it into a lesson too if anyone is interested in the video and the lesson that follows.

Enjoy

Not a Bowie song I knew before, but your version sounds great and very cool that your daughter accompanied you.

Will be checking your video lesson later (and also have a listen to the original).

Very nice work indeed Dan. A great cover version, beautifully played and sung and it's also a very high quality recording. Well done to you both!

Don't know the song...but I like the way you play it...David Bowie obviously was iconic but the only stuff of his I heard was the big hits on the radio over here...and they played those a ton...
and he spanned many a decade...nice tribute..
cool video...great playing and singing

This came out lovely. Great performance and arrangement. The acoustic guitar recording / tone is especially fab, and the lead work is spot-on. A superb cover.

Enjoyed the lesson and Songcrafters shout out too!

Nice job, I don't know the song but I really enjoyed your version.  Willie

I don't think I've heard this one before but it sounds like classic glam Bowie and you knocked it out of the park. Vocals, production, playing.... all stellar. You guys should form a band :)

Love this cover! Very true to the original. Well recorded and performed. Background vocals and claps are excellent!
