I came up with the music for this song, wanted to do an 80's 90's kind of rock/ metal sounding song, but i didn't have any lyric ideas. So i sent it to keith who came up with the lyrics after watching a programme about "Dracula"  ( yeah really) and also i think it's about a relationship where the other person is literally draining the life out the other and so it's like, "why wait any longer? just go".

Definitely has 80's rock / metal in its DNA. Spandex and fluorescent guitars, lol. Love that chorus and the 'why wait so long' bridge / refrain. And very tasty guitars all the way. Sounds like an MTV hit from 1987. Cool!

I agree, you nailed that 80s/90s rock genre. Some great riffs, lovely guitar sounds and really good lead work (loved the pinch harmonics). The vocals are suitably anthemic and I like the lyrical idea. Lovely punchy mix as well, really enjoyed this.

Sonically this is brilliant, Darren. Excellent guitar work and top class production all iced on the cake with Keith's stellar vocal. Certainly has that 80's/90's feel with the huge stadium -esque 'anthemic' chorus. Great collab from you two again.

I get a Blue Oyster Cult vibe from this... (I do love BÖC). Cracking tune, great vocals and it's great to hear that metal/shreddy tone on the guitar.

so many great things in here.... that fuzz bass for one...it's like Uriah Heep meets Loverboy.... I get the BOC comp though too...

this is a cool track...I really like the backing vocals a ton.... interesting to the nth degree...

I can hear a little Mott the Hoople in the vocals as well... it's a monster track... a real draculean track.... get out the fangs boys!
