Hi everyone, It's been a while since I have been on here. Chris Cornell has always been one of my favorite singers.
He co-wrote this with David Arnold, a great film composer who has done several Bond movies, Independence Day
and others. I was using this song as an Avid ProTools Training Course. So it has been through a lot of changes
with using drum loops, midi, and different routing techniques. I played some parts and also did midi programming
learning to mix and edit with the software.

I sent it to Kenny, who did a kick-ass job singing it. He can really hold a note for a while. Thanks again Kenny.
Hope you enjoy.

Big fan of the original track, really good take - I know first hand how bloody hard the vocals are to pull off for this one! Good inclusion of beats from the soundtrack in the intro too. Guitar tone is spot on.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I'm probably one of the few who didn't read your post before pressing play - but I could tell from the opening to the initial crescendo that it would be a Bond theme. I didn't know this one previously, but it's a corker and has all the elements you'd expect of a Bond song.

Very dynamic and well-orchestrated, and a fantastic vocal from Kenny.

Well done, gentlemen.

It was great to speak to Mach again get involved in this
I love the guitar tone on this and actually meant to ask him what guitar it was,it sounds like a PRS to me but I could be wrong.
I was excited to get maches name back up on the site.
Chris cornell was a great performer and another one destined to leave this world too soon.
Thanks for asking me mach.

Nope it was a Dean Fat Strat Maple Quilt model, jumbo frets, 2 point trem bridge, 5 way switch that I no longer have. I did this training course many moons ago, but I think I had the switch in the 4th position - mid single coil and humbucker blend direct in audio interface with AmpliTube.

Very well put together Mach... it's very epic indeed and a good choice to get Kenny involved... corker of a vocal. It does have that classic Bond style intro. Guitars sounds brilliant too. Great to hear some new music from you!

If i ever heard this song I don't recognize it but I admit that this time frame of the grunge rock thing mostly missed me as I was older and into the older stuff...but this sounds great...

I really like the grungy killer guitars, bass with the great keyboards...the keyboards and guitars are why i loved late 70's and 80's rock so much...even Rush got better (if that was possible)...
great vocalizing by the MacKen!  Release the MacKen!
