This is beautiful.  Great performance, great song.  Your use of new equipment sounds great.  But I think one think I've learned, that definitely applies to your stuff which is always high quality, is that it is the quality of the playing and performance that usually matters more than the gear.  No amount of tweaking can save a bad initial recording.  Some people have done amazing stuff with the MBR.  But one does have to take time to learn the ins and outs of each set of equipment.
