Do I get any points for knowing who Olivier Messiaen is?

I didn't know its modes, but I know he found inspirations in birds' singing.

I was at a concert in Gulbenkian, many years ago, where they played "trois petit lithurgies de la presence divine", and I was completely in awe. It is a piece for orchestra, women's choir, and an odd keyboard-thing called the "ondes martinot", which I believe was also used in "space 1999" (need to confirm this). Olivier was truly a magnificent composer with strange but nice melodies, and incredible in the orchestration (I still remember a fusion between the sound of violins and the sopranos . you didn't know what you were listening anymore).

Now I have kids and listen to Dua Lipa.

I love a strange/unusual mode, so I will try to incorporate some in future tunes.
