It's Never Done

(V1) I'm feeling kind of numb, I can't seem to escape
Something's been lost, that can't be replaced
Gone in an instant, slipped from my hand
How did this happen, I'm a broken man.

The last time we talked, all seemed right
I remember it being, a fun Friday night
Sunday's call left me, stone cold sober
Everything's changed, maybe it's over?

(Chr) But it's never over until it's over
It's never done until it's done

(V2) How can I change the rules of this game?
I can't help but wonder, will it ever be the same
Questions will haunt me, from this day on
I find it hard to believe, I'm still singing this song

Whiskey in my glass, ice melting in the dark
Your memory is here but we're still far apart
Surrounded by frustration, a picture with no frame
No more conversations, no one left to blame

(Chr) But it's never over until it's over
It's never done until it's done

(Guitar solo)

(V3) I'm feeling dizzy, and I have the shakes
Something's been lost, that can't be replaced
Gone in an instant, I don't understand
How this happened, to such a good man

You need to pick up your telephone
We need to talk, just can't leave it alone
There's never closure until there's closure
You're never gone until you're gone

(Chr) But it's never over until it's over
It's never done until it's done

Love these rockers that you guys put out and the musicianship is first class. Great to see my old mate Ron involved too. That is a fantastic vocal track, Farrell and cool lyrics.

Yep another excellent song from " the Cuzns". Love the heavy guitar sound. Love the drum beat, great guitars, great vocals and nice harmonica from Ron.

I'm reaching for the volume knob...up...up...and up...
oh that harmonica...holy smokes and the guitar work is killer...like on the Zep scale...big big stuff...

reminds me of my favorite zep... When the levee breaks...

killer lead guitar and great vocals as always///has a big time live feel...likely due to the room reverb...

love this one too

Fantastic stuff (a always) Farrell. Great musicianship and a real rocker of a song. I loved the key change at 2:14 and the harp works really well throughout. Loved your vocal, a superb performance, and it's also really well produced, it really rocks!

Greeny

Brilliantly done - with talent and swagger. So many great elements - that distorted harmonica sound with the slide guitar really does it for me though. And a mid-way key change for the solo - so impressive! Fantastic stuff. And sounds like you're all having a lot of fun along the way.
