Hey hey hey, another Beatles cover. A strong early Harrison track from Help!, it's songs like these from their catalogue that really feel like early power pop, so I thought it would be cool to change it up and sort of turn it into one.

This one is "from the vaults," so to speak. I recorded the instrumental on the micro br back in early 2018, just before I started recording on the BR 1200. I was never sure what to do with it until this festival popped up. I transferred it over to the 1200 and put vocals on top. I'm satisfied with the results...

I agree, you should be well satisfied, it sounds great and I absolutely love the bass work. Vocals are fab and really bring back memories of watching "Help" on the TV. Lovely stuff!

I didn't know the original, but I was curious enough to listen to it after hearing your version.
I was surprised with the change! The original is a somewhat of a more mellow song, and you naturally made it into a rock song, almost anthemic!

As you are starting to guess, I am biased towards the bass, so I really enjoyed your playing... Right in the end, I thought you would be starting a bass solo! it was calling for it!

Perhaps next song...  8)

Really well done, start to finish.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Well done! I'm always reluctant to cover Beatles songs because the original recordings are so bloody perfect that they're difficult to emulate let alone improve on. However, you've done a great job here with this early George Harrison song with great vocals, guitars and a rocking bass track.

Very nice. Sounds true to the time. I don't remember the original.
Strong track Keith.

Great interpretation of one of George's better early songs - I love how it's true to the original even though you've made some changes that make it your own. And those backing vocal harmonies are spot-on.

Well done, Keith!
