Wasn't sure if I should post this as new as opposed to adding it to the end of the other thread.

Changes:

*Wasn't happy with the guitar parts, so I redid them

*Redid vox with less distortion and not so Marilyn Manson-ish

*Did the drum track (Yes! Finally getting the hang of it!)

*Added and tweaked the lyrics (Because the verses are a bit short, the repeating chorus felt a bit boring to me, so each chorus is changed slightly)

*Added a couple of other audio "tweaks" in there at the beginning and end

Note: After running it thru Audacity, I swear I can hear what sounds like background noise that wasn't there after exporting from the MBR :/

Oh well ........

launched

That was a huge improvement! From my ear's perspective, it opened the song up more as well - Big time cool, man!!

Good job with the drums - Other than tweaking patch settings, the toughest component to the MBR.

See you around,

Great song!!!! The vocals sound really good in this version, kinda funky.  This is most excellent.

Great work !  Loved it, it has a nice heavy feel to it and I like the vox effects on it, sounds extreme!  Good guitar in background and nice bass lines.

Thanks everyone! I was up until 4:30am messing with this. Recording and re-recording the vox... At one point I even had a guitar layer of just harmonics that matched the chord changes, but I ended up cutting it because it just sounded like too much.

THE SOLO!!!

I was so focused on getting the vox right, that I didn't even think about it. Now I am gonna be thinking about it all day... I guess there's always version 3!!!  ;)
