This is the result of a whatsapp conversation with Kenneth. He said he would rattle off a quick tune to me but said it might be crap, i replied it might be brilliant. My part was to do an equally quick lyric via stream of thought. This is what came out of it all.

It is what it is.

The first thing that comes out your mouth
Could mean anything
A piece of nonsense that you might regret
Or it might be brilliant
Well it's the chance that you have to take
So why don't you try

Who knows what it might mean
Who cares if it makes any sense
Does anyone listen anyway
Just let it all come out

So let your self go with the flow
Let's see where it takes you
Like a leaf caught in the wind
Not knowing it's destiny
Well hold on tight it's a ride
You might crash might burn or fly

Who knows what it might mean
Who cares if it makes any sense
Does anyone listen anyway
Just let it all come out
Who knows what it might mean
Who cares if it makes any sense
Does anyone listen anyway
Just let it all come out
It Might Be Brilliant

yes, it is brilliant. Excellent song guys, great collaboration. And well done on producing a song so quick like that. Really good music from kenneth, i like the feel of the song, like those jangly guitars, especially in the choruses. And the lyrics are cool, great vocals too. Enjoyed it.  Darren.

I think this worked out a treat! Lovely backer, I love all those pads against the rhythm guitar, it creates a wonderful well of sound. Jim's vocals fit really nicely into this and creates a wonderful overall feeling. I love that breakdown in the middle at about 2:18, that works really well. Great result from a What'sApp conversation!

Blimey! I've spent at least 14 hours just mixing Jim's vocals into my New Wave backer! :o :D

Total credit to Kenneth for this track.
To come up with that was amazing.
Jims train of thought is let loose and runs wild like a caged animal set free in the woods.
An experiment that works.

The melodic music here is genius and I love the lyric too.  This is a feeling and a mood that I totally love.

On top of my Boss BR600 is a simple motto: Don't overthink it.

It means, don't let your interior critic shut you down.  Creation requires letting go.
