Damn, this one is obviously not an easy one to do but it sounds really natural and flows really well. Production is brilliant, really ballsy and those guitars sound great. Super vocal too... fantastic Geir.

You did it again.  I wrote a superlative comment on your last Beatles cover, but I think this one tops that - "raw power" is the phrase that comes to mind.  I used to have the "Geir plays the Beatles" jukebox, downloaded from songcrafters as a playlist on my iphone, and now I think I've got to download that to my phone again.  So nice to have fresh covers of my favorite songs.  There can't be very many you haven't done yet?  Have you done "Ain't she sweet" and "Cry for a shadow" yet?  You can always do different versions of the ones you've done before.  I will listen!

Oh yeah! I know I'd dig this pony even before pressing play. The vocal has classic Geir written all over it. And as for that solo - total magnificence. Brilliantly done my friend. Grit, power and musicality.

Sorry for the late reply....

But thank you all for the kind comments.

This was a really fun one to do. I think it's the first time I've played it.

I was quite happy with the result.

Regarding the guitar sound, I've fallen in love with the AUv3 guitar amps from Nembrini.
On this one I'd just acquired the "voice dc 30" .... Yeah. You know what that is emulating ;)
I used that for most of the guitar parts, also using their Marshall jcm800 amp in parallel on the solo.

For bass I used their fabulous blackice beta gamma amp

The lead consists of a lot of big bends which has been a big part of my latest approach to lead playing so it suited me well ;D

Anyway. Thank you again for your kind feedback
