Kenneth

Not as rushed today , so got a chance to listen 100% focus.

Tim , you are of 2 voices here.. almost sounds like a different vocalist in parts.
Nigel, the recording is clear and uncluttered. Love the chord changes, it goes where you aren't anticipating. Also , easy on the ears, no reasons to not lean in.

Overall, I can see why it's your current favorite. One of 2021 Songcrafter best songs right here.

back for another listen, the more I do the more I find it amazing. It brings back really that 80s period, and ... just wow, I love the sound of it (no guitars lol!), the chords, everything!

Oh well ........

Quality stuff sounds like Greeny,s vocal is in a lower register, which makes it sound  cool.
Ferryman always has the coolest tracks and this is  no  different.
Two guys one same page  excellent!!

So true... it's almost criminal that this isn't heard by a hell of a lot more people. It's totally up there and more than almost all current music. Songwriting and performance wise this would sit comfortably on an album of the great bands mentioned in the thread. I get little hint of the Manic Street Preachers too. The feel of the music is enhanced by only using a Bass... who'd have thought it! Some bloody massive sounds from that Bass Nigel and that is a pretty damn flawless vocal Tim. QUALITY.
