wikipedia
Quote"Killer Queen" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by lead singer Freddie Mercury and recorded for their third album Sheer Heart Attack in 1974. It reached number two in the UK Singles Chart and became their first US hit, reaching number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100.[4] The song is about a high-class call girl and has been characterised as "Mercury's piano-led paean to a Moët-quaffing courtesan".[4][5]

The song is included in Queen's first Greatest Hits compilation from 1981, and Absolute Greatest (2009).[6] It is also recorded on the live albums Live Killers and Queen Rock Montreal.[7][8]

My friend Jean Paul didn't try to sing like Freddie Mercury  :), but I tried to play the guitar part like Brian May  :(     ...not easy ;)

Great fun, what a cool cover, although maybe the lead could be a bit higher in the mix.... ;) A very enjoyable version.

Yes.....and no ;)

It's perfect where you solo and in some parts, but IMO it's too much for the vocal sections. So it's too loud when it comes in at 0:10 but perfect at 0:43. Then it's too loud over the second verse but perfect for the solo at 1:22. Then it's too loud over the vocals at 1:55 but fine at the end (about 2:22). So version 1 is great for the vocal sections, while version 2 is great for the solo parts.

Sorry, you did ask...... ;) :D

If you use a DAW for mixing, you could try some automation on the volume level so that it is lower during the vocal parts. I spend hours and hours playing with all of these settings in my DAW  :)

On the contrary Nigel, I appreciate technical opinions and criticism and I always take them positively (I'm only an amateur)

I think you are right, I have enhanced the sound of the lead guitar overall without taking into account the solo and backtrack parts

My friend Jean Paul sent me a revised version because he thought there were some timing mistakes in the vocals and guitars

so here is the revised version that I will put in the first message after
