I absolutely love this song, definitely one of my favourite Paul songs from this era. You totally did this one justice, excellent vocals and great instrumental backing.

You nailed this one Geir. Well done, love the instrumentation/arrangement on the bridge.

You've done a fantastic cover of this great Beatles track. The music is spot on and those vocals and harmonies are impressive. I wish I could sing better, I'd love to try a cover myself..will probably stick to music lol . Darren

Brilliant version Geir, great to hear more from you. I love the vocals and the backing vox, very cleverly done. And the arrangement is superb, it's quite true to the spirit of the original but has your own unique spin on it. Superb, loved it!

I listened to this in my car and again on airpod pros.  It totally kicks butt and you are one talented musician.  I did not do a comparison listen to the original, but I can tell this sounds very close in all ways to the original.  It feels like it has all the little elements - especially the background vocals.  I think I am familar enough with the Beatles that even if I haven't listened to a song for a long time and hears this cover, and hears each little element (riff, background vocal), I immediately know "yep, that was there in the original, and he's got it just right!" - or maybe it isn't exactly the same, but your taste in giving the right flavor is good enough to fool me!  I also will say that your deep, gritty voice is perfect for this song - I think I like it better than the original!

I'm curious to know what is your method for doing accurate covers - do you put the original on a parallel track and play along to parts of it (is the key and timing exactly matched, like you use the song itself as a click track?) or do you just frequently go back and forth referencing each section/element to the original during the recording process?  Or do you just listen to the original a lot and make notes about the various elements on a lyric/chord sheet before starting?  Or do you get detailed sheet music and use that as a guide?
