Westworld ( scoring competition 2020)

This was a music competition i entered last year to score a scene for the "Westworld" tv series, ( which i've never seen by the way ha!) Unfortunately i didn't win. But it's the taking part that counts i suppose   What they gave me was just the video and dialogue, no music. So i had fun with it anyway, i like doing this kind of thing as a hobby anyway.
 i thought id post the video with the music i created for it. It works better with the video than with just the background music. Thanks for listening.   Darren.

I remember this from last year, Darren - you created a brilliant soundtrack that suited the video material perfectly. What did the winning score sound like? I'm always dubious about competitions and sometimes wonder if the winner is already decided before the comp starts.

Darren...theres a YouTube icon when you post or modify... you click that and it places a short script into your post... then click into the middle of script and paste your YouTube link there...then post...and it appears

Immaculate. Sounds absolutely pro to me. Surely you should be doing this as a job? My stepson has just been re-scoring some of the Chernobyl tv series for his music degree, so I know the work and interpretation that goes into producing something like this. Fine work!

Great scoring I actually listened to a much of entries from this competition there was some outstanding entries. Great job on this it takes a lot effort to get everything to sync

trust me... I did too at first...it took me a while to figure out the script postings... I was never on these sites back in the older days of the net...
