HB 12-string electric (I can't put the f*cker down), Ibanez bass, vocals, and Garageband drums, piano, and lots of synth. Recorded and mixed on the MBR.

It's very nearly happy / positive  ;D ::) :o

stir crazy and lost - everybody knows
the burned out year of the rat
the heartache that grows

but there's a cine film projected on the walls of your mind
where you're floating away
and escaping the grey

Aloha
welcome to paradise
Aloha
Hibiscus and blue skies

Aloha

fools venting their spleen
falling for lies
a survival situation
with daggers for eyes

but there's a cine film projected on the walls of your mind
where you're floating away
and escaping the grey

Aloha
welcome to paradise
Aloha
Hibiscus and blue skies

Very cool, very dreaming but with a bittersweet touch of melancholy. Love all the layers. Really full and very tasty - encompassing. Superb.

This is just great, Tim. Everything about this is just marvellous - the production, the writing, the performance, the arranging and the vocals that is the icing on the cake. Your lyrics always remind me of Jack Kerouac for some reason - incisive with a dash of cynicism that often offsets the lovely melodic content of the music. Whatever, it always works so well; brilliant stuff.

superstar material right here Tim...man o man... I hope you are very proud of this...it's just fantastic... dangerous stuff it's so good.... if you were doing this back some years ago...you could sing the pants right off the ladies with this stuff....as good as Elvis and then some...you are like a Beetle without the whole band...

Its a great song Tim and the lyrics are nice and positive, exactly what we need at the moment after the last year of covid/ lockdown. Has a feel good message and feel to the music. The music is really good, love the guitar and the synths, I like that synth that sounds like strings. Yeah great vocals.
Thanks for the comment on my Westworld track. I only wish I was good enough to do it as a job lol. Good luck to your step son and his music degree, and scoring the Chernobyl TV series. That was a good series.
Cheers. Darren

Smoking song brother the 12 string is great and the subline bass in the back ground along with the superb vocals anchor everything together

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Lovely warm sound. It certainly does have some feel good factor, but some melancholy too... but that is a super mix to get, to just dance on the line between those emotions. That's where the magic is. This is splendid, a really beautiful song. I am getting a bit of a dreamy (slightly Manic Street Preachers on the vocal and even the music, which is wonderful for me) vibe. What a corker Tim... damn that was good.
