Hello, started this idea as a Bowie influence but finished up more Beatles!
Can't win 'em all...
Did it on my BR800, i've got a travel guitar that i record through mic's in the BR800 and i'm really pleased with the balance.
Bass and guitar added later.
Hope you like it.
Thanks.

A very cool song and sound. Yes, more Beatles than Bowie but still a good one song. The mic'ed acoustic sounds full and bright...just right. Some fine words and vocal. The outro with the guitar riffing reminds of Beatle George's productions...well done!

Wow, great little song you've got here. I get a White Album vibe, very Lennon esque but also reminds me of a Chris Murphy penned song by Sloan. Love the guitar work, you knocked that solo out of the park: Harrison would be proud :) Really enjoyed this

StephenM

has a 70a pop tune flavor to me....those really nice singers on the radio....gosh your voice reminds of someone I am trying to get my finger on it....anyway...I have to hear this some more....really nice tune...and a very good recording... and I should add...very nice guitar work both on the rhyth and lead

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I'm with tony, it does have the Beatles sound but I can hear Bowie in the lyrics and vocals. Also great guitar riffs reminiscent of the great mick ronson. Brilliant song and performance. Really enjoyed that.  Darren.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)

The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

I'm liking what you did. Your vocals remind me a bit of Christopher Cross.
Good tune.

Nice one! Very well put together. Great voice and lyrics. Dig the contrast between the acoustic and electric leads!
