wow satchwood,  that sounds awesome that you saw him at the ritz theater. i have not had the pleasure of seeing him live all by himself:( i saw him live with booker t and the mg's at finsbury park. i sure would love to see him perform live by himself:)
thanks guys for the support n feedback!:) yeah how i recorded this one - i'll explain n share. i achieved the live sound after building my confidence up with my previous takes with 'keep on rockin in the free world'. i took a different approach - plugged my acoustic guitar straight into line in. recorded with no effects. kept that tight while singing quietly in my mind the lyrics. the credit goes to the onboard micro br mic - which i used to put down the vox. i kept to the rule of singing slow n clear - making a strong effort to pronounce the words. the onboard mic responded very well to this. i mixed in live mix. and used 5 reverb both for the guitar n vox in mastering mode! it really did not take long.  n i have learnt that if you manipulate the onboard br mic.. you can get great live results. which is great news n for us musician on the move. should  we wish to visit the great wall of china, play in the grand canons, or at nigar falls. this little powerhouse - mbr is right there to captured the action. yeeeah:)

great raw honest performance!

The evil mrs osckilo's dad, laid down the drums for 'time is tight' by booker T and the mg's. . . How long ago did you see them?
