I sent this song to ray a couple of years ago, (music and lyrics) to see if he would do vocals on it. He went one better and recorded his own arrangement with music, vocals and production, which sound amazing as you would expect from Ray.  Thanks again Ray :) Thanks for listening.

Lyrics
MY LUCK HAS GONE

I used to be happy once,
A long long time ago,
Good times would always last,
The bad times never showed

But now they're just memories
that play around in my mind
mistakes i've made and now i see
that my eyes, must have been blind

CHORUS

And now my luck has gone, it's drifted all away
And Now my luck has gone, i guess it couldn't stay

Those days are gone now,
but i can see them still
when time and youth were on my side

The sun was shining
that day i took your hand
You took my heart and made it come alive

CHORUS

And now my luck has gone, it's drifted all away
And Now my luck has gone, i guess it couldn't stay

And now my luck has gone, it's drifted all away
And where my luck has gone, i guess i couldn't say.

All my luck has gone
(All my luck has gone, my luck has gone)
All my luck has gone
(All my luck has gone, my luck has gone)

Really enjoyed, the chords and vocal harmonies are infectious. Sounds like a finger picked solo, and fab piano playing. You guys put together something well worth waiting for!

Great song Darren, and Ray's arrangement really makes it. Melodic, great lyrics and superb instrumentation. Love the break down and solo at around 2 minutes. Really professional production, this has massive hit written all over it! Very classy indeed gents, well done.

Darren, this is a gorgeous song. Wonderful writing there.
Ray, just beautiful. The harmony vocals ... warm sound, , solos.. it's a comfort song despite the chorus lyrics.
Really good stuff guys.
