Do you know any other murder songs?

I forgot that I actually wrote a murder song and did it as a collaboration with Tommy Satchwood on here!

Here's the lyrics, it's a tale of obsession, passion, murder and madness:

The devil's in the cornfield
Clutching at our hearts
Standing in the shadows
Watching as we pass

Angels and demons dance in your eyes
One night of love for a life full of lies
Obsession is a passion that's becoming our drug
As we rip out the pumping heart of love

We're going Hellbound
Hellbound
We're going Hellbound
Hellbound

Pleasure turns to pain
As despair fills the night
Blood stains the ground
The darkness is alight

Angels and demons dance in my brain
Madness consumes me in its flames
Whispered imaginings that tear me apart
Are just the sounds of my tell-tale heart

We're going Hellbound
Hellbound
We're going Hellbound
Hellbound
You're dragging me down

Great tune Nigel, blimey that is going back a bit, 2009. I wasn't even born in songcrafterland back then!

Have to add "Whiskey in the Jar" by Thin Lizzy to this list!

I had to double check did the protagonist actually kill someone in the lyrics and indeed he did :)

"Being drunk and weary, I went to Molly's chamber
Takin' my Molly with me and I never knew the danger
For about six or maybe seven in walked Captain Farrell
I jumped up, fired off my pistols, and I shot him with both barrels"

Second thinking, most Death Metal applies to either this category, or anatomy classes. Or both.

In Ireland Arthur McBride...

In Italy the most famous is La canzone di Marinella, by the great Fabrizio De Andrè...

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thank you Alfredo for this little personal answer

This song is beautiful and I like as much the French version as the Italian version

I think I will do a cover of this song (French version), if you want to do it with me for the orchestration it would be a pleasure mio amico
