Freak Dance (Kenneth and Hilary)

Morning - Kenneth sent me a track which he called Freak Dance. I wanted to  add some vocal glitching type sound bites but it's not exactly in my wheelhouse so I sang a few bits in Garageband based on Ken's theme and this is it.

I have used bits from various songs:

Hit me with your Rhythm stick - Ian Dury and the Blockheads
I'm in the mood for Dancing - The Nolans
Do you wanna dance? - Cliff Richard
Hellacious Acres (which I've always wanted to sing) - Kris Krisofferson

There are also a couple of lines from Tom the Receptionist on Celebrities Go Dating - It's Simply Splended and We should plug him in and save the world.

This is different, I like the experimental " freaky" lyrics, the music is catchy and has a nice chilled out feel. I swear if you close your eyes and listen to the music and words, you'll start hallucinating:)

Love how the voices all interact with each other over the course of the track. Paired with the steady drums, it gives off a very trippy vibe.
