48 had suggested I create a "screamer" ala ZZ Top'ish...so I came up with something using the Texas patch and tweeking it a lil bit as to emphasize artificial harmonics which is a huge part of the ZZ Top sound...I hope you enjoy.

Patch: GT>U30 "Texas ST" moved mine to U02 and renamed "HarmoniX"

Song: SONG0000
Folder: SONG0000.BR0
Algorithm: COSM GTR AMP

Preamp: CRUNCH
  Volume: 85
  Bass: 50
  Middle: 43
  Treble: 60
  Presence: 40
  Master: 85

Speaker Sim: MATCH
  Mic Set: Center
  Mic Level: 100
  Dir Level: 0

Noise Suppressor: OFF(sounds more tube like)
  Threshold: 00
  Release: 00

FX: Off

Delay:Tap
  Dly Time: 77ms
  Feedback: 30
  Effect Level: 12

FYI, if you go through the steps, youll see I havent really done much to some of these patches but make very subtle minor tweeks to what was already there...so feel free to deviate from my patch and make it your own, shape it around what your guitar wants to sound like and what you wanna hear, what sounds good to you.
This was done on a Strat with single coils YMMV.

If anybody is interested, I used this patch for this post and can be heard there for a sample.

Im really finding this one to be very touch sensitive, almost tube like...itll bark if you want it too or it can be soft and gentle if you treat it the same.

BTW, in the sample, volume was at 10 on my guitar and never left that position...sensitivity on the input was bout -5(but really just whatever sounded right to me at the time).

Cool. Doesn't billy gibbons use a coin as a plectrum (which I gather adds to the pinched harmonic tones...)? I'll definitely have a play with this. Thanks for sharing!!!!
